This set parallels the regular 1987 Fleer issue and signified a short-lived three year run of Glossy parallel cards likely produced in response to Topps' run of Tiffany parallel sets. The cards were issued in a special tin which also included a glossy version of the World Series set. These 672 standard-size are differentiated only by the gloss on the front.
