Fleer produced a cloth patches football set from 1972 to 1976. Each set consists of a "Helmet" card and "Logo" card for each team. Each card also has a team name on each helmet and logo card. The copyright date on all cards from each of the sets is 1972.
Although the sets are similar each year there are some differences that can be used to differentiate each set. The '72 and '73 helmet cards have a single-bar helmet while the '74 - '76 sets have a double-bar helmet.
The '74 and '75 sets can be differentiate by a trademark (TM) that was added to the '75 set.
